Did you know that last year one in every two children experienced violence last year? We certainly didn’t. But, that devastating statistic has inspired us to spark joy somewhere it is very clearly needed.
To date, the Polished Man campaign has raised over $7M in the fight to end violence against children, for good. Each October it asks participants to paint a fingernail, with the intention of stimulating conversation and awareness about the issue, and inspiring donations. Those donations allow for trauma recovery and trauma prevention for children around the world, who are at risk of, or who have suffered violence.
David, our Operations Manager and father to his darling boy Arlo (nearly 2 years old), recently raised the topic with our team and announced that he will be participating. His passion and efforts to educate our team inspired us to go bigger and do more. That’s why the Erstwilder team have joined the Polished Man campaign and we’re calling on you to help too.
From 12:00pm (AEDT) Monday 25th October to 12:00pm (AEDT) Wednesday 27th October, we’re donating 20% of all sales on ERSTWILDER.COM to Polished Man.
To date, and with your support, we have proudly donated over $130,000 to various charity organisations across mental health, animal welfare, women's health, LGBTQIA+ education, Indigenous issues and more.
