A celebration of imagination and Australian storytelling, this limited-run brooch is part of Erstwilder's 2026 collaboration with the Children's Book Council of Australia, featuring artwork by illustrator Briony Stewart for Children's Book Week. Bearnard and his warbler companion Figaro are rendered in warm golden-brown layered resin, cello glittering, sheet music open - two unlikely musicians adding their voices to the symphony.
In support of the Children's Book Council of Australia, $5 from each brooch sale will be donated to further their work enriching young lives through Australian stories.

DESIGN STORY
After a life of petty crime stealing picnic baskets, Bearnard discovered a passion for classical cello music. Together with a wayward young warbler named Figaro, the duo became famed for their operatic duets. They tour through the summer and hibernate in winter at an undisclosed location in the forest.
