The design features a mix of terrifically textured resins which can differ from piece to piece, as well as a number of smaller parts that will feature different colours depending on the piece you're lucky enough to receive. All this means is that your gorgeous new brooch is going to be a certified one of a kind.

STORY

Going it solo, because nights out with his mates often degenerate into fights over food or females. He’s a big lad but he’s harmless to humans.

Each piece is made from laser-cut and layered resin, hand assembled, hand painted and released in limited quantities. As all of our designs are lovingly glued, assembled and painted by hand there can be fingerprint marks and very slight variations and blemishes from piece to piece. Due to the hand-mixed nature of the resins in our designs it is also common and normal to find tiny flecks or bubbles in the resin layers. All in all, this just makes each piece as special and unique as you are.

Brooch clasps, necklace chains, and jump rings are made from silver-plated steel. Earrings hooks and posts are made from high quality, hypoallergenic stainless steel.

CARE

Please be aware that resin is akin to ceramic and glass and therefore may be damaged if dropped or knocked. Due to the use of high quality silver-plating in our brooch clasps, tarnishing and oxidisation can occur, producing black and gold discolouration. As with all silver products, you can simply restore it using a silver cloth. Keep your Erstwilder companion neatly tucked away in this box when not being worn, avoid contact with perfumes, lotions, water and excessive sunlight and you’ll have a trusted friend for years to come.

Items must be returned within 60 days of purchase together with proof of purchase.
Items must be in their original condition with accompanying gift boxes, story cards and swing tags.

Earrings are not able to be returned for hygiene reasons.

A new favorite!

I did not expect this to be my favorite brooch of the collection. This is such an easy to style piece, and I always get compliments!

Beautiful!

The quality and workmanship on this brooch is second to none. The colors are so rich and vibrant, and I can't wait to wear it!

Stag-maybe?

This is my entry into the monthly giveaway:
I absolutely love this brooch and would love to give it 5 stars, the pearly white resin on the wings is made of a swirly resin where each piece can be unique. That being said, due to the swirly resin, and the way it was cut and then put together, on the brooch I recieved, gave my beetle completely different wings, in my opinion. One wing is swirly pearly and glittery, the other wing is about 50% completely translucent glittery resin. I know some Erstwilder Pieces have color variations due to the choice of resin, but I wasn't expecting this type of consistency difference. It looks like whoever made the resin didn't stir it up completely. If I was doing quality control on the pieces I may have considered this piece a "seconds", because to me the wings look so different, but again that's my opinion. Because I live in the US I decided to just keep it rather than email about the issue because shipping can be crazy. I love the piece, but couldn't give my specific piece 5 stars.

Beautiful Layering

I was very happy when I received my Stag-Do brooch. The layering of the blue resins aswell as the sparkly clear resin with the gold trim was absolutely beautiful. Although it took a few days to dispatch (which was expected with the collection launch), the package was neatly put together with obvious thought and not rushed at all.
